Middle School Retreat

Thank you to all of the individuals who helped make the Middle School Retreat last Friday a prayerful and fun experience for our young people! A special thank you goes to Kelly Ward, St. Joseph Church Youth Ministry Coordinator, and Judy Ramsey, St. Joseph Church Confirmation Coordinator, for planning and leading us through our two prayer services, afternoon prayer activities, and some fun cooperative games! Danielle Rice, Deb Coppa, Michele Brock, and Jim McDonald were small group leaders in the afternoon. Deb Coppa, Danielle Rice, Lu Wherry, Rodney Bluml, Dennis Fitzpatrick, and Paul and Cindy Burke helped with our morning activities. Leon Hartogh showed us his giant rosary that a woman had carefully carved from a single plank of wood. Linda Fenske and Kate Fejfar bought our food and organized the cookout. Paco Ochoa was our grillmaster with his commercial gas grill. Linda Fenske, Kate Fejfar, Karri Kruser, Peggy Stepanek, Allen Stekl, Karla McAllister, and Teresa Boston helped serve lunch. A big thank you to everyone who helped out and who donated chips, fruit, desserts, beverages, paper products, and money for the lunch!

Submitted by the Retreat Team: Mr. Hayek, Mr. Stephenson, Mrs. Gall, Mrs. Lord, Mrs. Bluml, Mrs. Kisling, Mrs. Ramsey, Mrs. Ward.
